Today we went to the Doctor for our first visit. Harper weighed 5 lbs 2 oz when we left the hospital on Tuesday so we were excited to see if she gained weight. Well on the Drs scale she still weighed 5 lbs 2 oz, but the Dr thinks her scale is off by 2 ounces compared to the hospital so she really may be 5 lbs 4 oz. We go back on Thursday for another weight check so now that we have a baseline on the Drs scale we will truly be able to tell if she gained weight. Gaining weight is her #1 job right now! Her other #1 job is staying healthy which means she can't leave the house (other than going to the Dr) until at least her due date of November 21st. Unfortunately it also means we have to limit visitors and the Dr says not kids are allowed to visit (with the exception of the toddler that lives with us!) We are so ready to show this lady to everyone but we have to obey the Dr right now.
Big cheese with Dee. Dee is leaving today and coming back on Sunday. Dee has been going crazy cleaning and organizing our house so it was ready when we got home. Thanks Dee!!
This is what Harper does most of day...SLEEP. She is a great baby!!
Dad is great at burping Harper!! He is also teaching Carter to touch Harper feet when she wants to say hello.
We got a fun package from Detroit. As usual Carter loves the packaging and had a blast playing with the bubble wrap.
